Earlier this month I did my favorite mini sessions to date. I mean, it just doesn’t get better than gorgeous spring days, beautiful bluebonnets and lots of giggles. I am a Texan girl through and through, so when wildflower season rolled around, I knew I wanted to take as many pictures in them as possible. And y’all… I couldn’t be happier with how these pictures turned out.
Every time I have a mini session or photoshoot I feel like I learn a little bit more about photography. Since starting this business in November, my game has done a 180, and I laugh at how naive I was back then. I had no idea how to run a photography business, how to interact with clients, and what to do during a session… It’s still a work in progress (as is any job you have!) but I am so happy with how much I’ve improved and learned over this time.
When looking back at these bluebonnet minis, I realized that I learned some very important lessons that I wanted to share with you. And, even if you’re not a photographer, I think you still might find them useful. ; )
As you can see, I had a BLAST and learned some pretty valuable life lessons. ; ) It was exhausting, yet I loved every single minute of it. Mini sessions are draining, but one of my favorite things to do. I love catching up with families, meeting new clients, and making memories I’ll cherish forever.
Before signing off, I wanted to say a quick thank you to all the families who came to the mini sessions! I had an amazing time with y’all, and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Becca Sue Photography. <3
