Growing up, I loved Beauty and the Beast. I think it’s because I felt like I could relate so much to Belle. She was quiet, yet strong willed. Her head was always buried in a book. And she loved her dad so much. So when Stachia told me she was using Beauty and the Beast as inspiration for her wedding, I was thrilled. One of my favorite Disney movies AND a wedding?
Yes, please!

And let me tell you… She pulled it off in the most beautiful way possible. When I saw the rose she brought to her bridal session, I grinned. It was classy, simple and screamed Beauty and the Beast! And don’t get me started on how absolutely gorgeous she looked. From the stunning makeup and sparkling dress, she looked like the princess she really is.

If I learned anything from all the Disney movies I grew up watching, it’s that a princess isn’t about who your parents are. It’s about who YOU are. Graceful, kind, compassionate and strong. Able to stand up for yourself. Sees the joy in the heartache. And radiates her beauty from the inside out. In the time I got to spend with Stachia, that’s what I saw. Someone who had overcome heartache, found true love, and who was thrilled to begin the next step in her journey with Mason.

And I hope you can see that in these pictures. She was truly stunning. Had the kindest heart. And I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate this amazing moment in her life with her. When someone is in love, their happiness is infectious!
