It was one of the first beautiful spring days of the year, the perfect day for Cameron and Sara to get married. As you walked through the gorgeous inn, the sounds of people getting ready echoed through the building. Friends seeing Sara in her wedding dress for the first time. Groomsmen making sure everything was in place for the reception. Workers going here and there to get guests to their rooms. And the bridal party excitedly talking about the wedding that was only hours away.

As Sara was carefully fixing her hair with her two closest friends, and looking anxiously ahead to meeting her groom at the end of the aisle, Cam was busy grinning ear to ear as he walked around the inn. He was a man in love, and ready to finally marry the girl of his dreams.

It had taken seven years to get to this point. Seven years of dating, waiting and loving each other. From stalking each other after meeting in an engineering class Sara’s freshman year to long distance dating to engaged at last.
She is sarcastic, dry and serious. He is goofy and carefree. And they bring out the best in each other.

From being the Harry Potter trivia champs of Denton to loving on their cats, Sara and Cam were definitely made for each other. I could tell that from the minute I first saw them together. There was something special… Something different. It’s the beauty of love that goes deeper than a feeling!

And that love was evident their entire wedding day.

You could see it in Sara’s smile as she walked down the aisle.
It was in the choked up feeling Cam got as he saw his bride dressed in white for the very first time.
The maids of honor and groomsmen talked about it in their speeches.
And you heard it in the vows Sara and Cameron shared during the ceremony.

I promise to love you no matter what. 

Because love is more than just a feeling. It’s something you have to choose to do, day in and day out. Loving someone is not easy, but it’s one of the most rewarding things to do. There’s nothing more special than knowing you are loved and cherished. Loved like Cam loves Sara. And cherished like Sara cherishes Cam.

And I am so thankful I got to be there to see it all.

Thank you Sara and Cameron for asking me to be there to capture this special time in your lives! I am beyond happy for you two, and cannot wait to see all the adventures you go on together. Being there to watch the two of you get married made my heart feel so overjoyed, and I am so thankful I was there to witness it.
