Sunshine, Chiedozie and I go all the way back to December 23, 2018. That afternoon, in the middle of Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, Chiedozie asked Sunshine to marry him while I covertly took pictures. It was such a sweet proposal and I knew even then that they were two amazing, genuine people who loved each other dearly.

I took their engagement pictures the summer of 2019, and excitedly anticipated their wedding that was scheduled for April 2020. But then the world went crazy and after pushing their wedding date back multiple  times, they decided to just go ahead and move it to April of 2021.

Surrounded by family and friends they officially tied the knot last year on April 11th, so the wedding this year was actually a celebration of their marriage, and the past 364 days they had spent as husband and wife.

What a crazy, crazy year, and getting to finally be there on this special day was such a joy! Congratulations (and happy anniversary) Mr. and Mrs. Chukwu!
