“You are my best friend.”

As Mark told Heather those five words, tears sprung to her eyes. They had waited a long time for today. What started as a simple crush became love. They survived long distance dating, a traumatic car wreck, and an almost twelve month engagement. Through all the ups and downs of their relationship, their love for each other never failed, and their relationship only grew stronger.

You could see it in the way Mark grinned from ear to ear as he saw his bride walk down the aisle.
It was evident when Heather talked about everything they had learned about each other during their engagement.
And you heard it when they read their vows to each other.

The entire day radiated joy. From the sunshine that peeked through the clouds (after being promised a 90% chance of rain on the forecast) to the tearful smiles as Heather’s dad walked her down the aisle. There was laughter ringing through the bridal suite as Heather got ready to become Mrs. Eason. The biggest grins on the faces of every bridesmaid and groomsman. And as the guests danced the night away, you couldn’t help but sway along.

Weddings like this one remind me of why I do what I do. I love celebrating love. I love joining in with the crying, laughing and celebrations as a husband and a wife join together in marriage. And I love hearing how the Lord has already used their relationship to bring Him glory. It was the perfect spring wedding, and I am honored that Isaac and I were able to be there to capture it all.

Here’s to many, many years of love, joy, forgiveness and grace Mr. and Mrs. Eason!
