It was the perfect day for a wedding, but the beautiful sunshine and soft breeze weren’t what made it that way. It was the smile on Kasey’s face as she giddily said her vows to Tyler. It was the laughter of the bridesmaids as they got ready together. It was the twinkle in Tyler’s eyes as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. And it was the joyous excitement of all who were there as they celebrated the marriage of two amazing people.

The moment that stood out to me the most at this wedding was the very last dance at the end of the evening. Everyone was tired, the long day of getting ready, preparing for the ceremony and dancing the night away had finally come to an end. But as the DJ turned on the song for the last dance, Kasey and Tyler melted into each other’s arms.
Tears sprang into my eyes as I watched them smile up at each other and begin to soak in the day’s events.

They were finally married.

After spending so long dating and waiting for their wedding day, it was finally here.

And as they spent those few minutes alone, you could tell that they knew this wasn’t the end, but rather the beginning. The start to a new life together, side by side. The beginning of forever.

I loved getting to be there to capture such a special day for Kasey and Tyler. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick start the wedding season of 2021!
