I can’t help but smile when I think back to Kelsey and Landon’s wedding.

It was such a beautiful, sweet day full of laughter, smiles and excited anticipation for the future. After five years together, Kelsey and Landon were so ready for their “forever” to begin. You could hear it in Kelsey’s squeals of excitement when she heard “just one hour left!!” and see it in Landon’s nervous grin when I asked him how he was feeling. It was a day they had both been looking forward to for a long time.

The sweetest part of the day was right after the send off when I saw the new Mr and Mrs take a deep breath and look at each other. They did it! The celebration was over. The decorations were coming down. Guests were headed home. They were finally husband and wife. And best years of their lives lay before them. It was a sigh of a job well done, and the look in their eyes spoke volumes. The love between the two was so sweet, and brought tears to my eyes. All I could think was “THIS is why I do what I do!”

Kelsey and Landon, I cannot express how happy I am for you and what a privilege it was to capture your special day. I am excited to see how the Lord uses your marriage for His glory!
