I’ve known Joe since we were first year teachers in third grade together. We had a lot of fun during recess and lunch duty, and I was always so impressed with his incredible work ethic. He went above and beyond for his students every single day, and I loved seeing the passion for teaching that he had. When I first saw Brittany and Joe together, he had just proposed to her, and I was there to take pictures to celebrate. It was in that moment that I realized the passion I saw in him when it came to teaching was nothing compared to the passion and love he had for Brittany.
The entire wedding day just further showed me how perfect Joe and Brittany are for each other. From the tear filled eyes as they read their vows, to the sweet toasts from the best man and maids of honor, to hearing how much Brittany’s dad loved the two of them together. The day was filled with the love and excitement for their marriage, and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time.
The sweetest moment of the wedding was at the very end of the night. The guests were lining up for the exit but the bride and groom stayed inside for a private last dance. As the music played, Joe and Brittany just soaked in the time together and all the craziness that had just happened. They were married. They were about to start life together. And oh my gosh the day they had been waiting for for so long was over. They swayed to the music, and Joe spun Brittany around. They beamed at each other and Brittany held him close. What a magical moment. And what a perfect way to end a perfect day.
I am beyond excited for the two of you! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Parthemore!
