It was the coldest day we’d had all season. My breath caught in my chest as I stepped out of the car to get my gear. While I put on every single winter clothing article I own (not that that says much…), I got more and more excited for the upcoming session. Yes, it was WAY too cold- especially for North Texas- but I knew this engagement session was going to be one for the books. And friends… it definitely was!

The minute I saw Sara and Cameron together, I knew they were madly in love. From the eye crinkling smile he gave her when she wasn’t looking to the sweet embrace they naturally fell into. It was such a treat to spend a chilly morning with them, getting to know them a little better, and laughing together.

One of my favorite moments happened right when the sun started peaking over the tree line. We were cold, my fingers were numb, and Sara’s nose was starting to turn red. Cameron pulled Sara in for a hug, I wrapped a blanket around them and she snuggled up close. Their slow breaths helped warm each other up, and Cameron sweetly gazed into Sara’s eyes as she smiled up at him. It was such a beautiful moment, as the sun shone all around and they got all snuggly together. Seriously adorable!

And if I thought I couldn’t like the two of them any more, I found out that they are – wait for it – THE Harry Potter Trivia champs of Denton. How cool is that? I knew I liked them for a reason. 😉

Sara and Cameron, thank you for making that cold, cold morning worth every second. I can’t wait for your big day in March, and to get to know you even better.
