I was there the first day Jarrett and Cassie met.
And I was there when he got down on one knee.
And I was there they day they said “I do”.
So to say I feel a little invested in their love story is an understatement. From the day I met Cassie I knew I liked her. And the more I saw her with my brother, the more I knew they were perfect for each other. She completes him. She fits in perfectly with my family. And she can put up with Jarrett’s goofiness like no one else can.
The past two years of having Cassie in the Campbell family has been so much fun. I love her spunky personality and the fact that I she and I are practically the same person. She has supported Jarrett through the toughest years of his life, and in the little time she knew my dad, she came to respect and love him like we did. And my favorite thing about her? That she loves my brother with her whole heart.
I have never seen Jarrett as happy as he is with his wife, and it makes me tear up thinking about it. I am forever thankful that he found his soulmate and that we love her too. He has grown as a husband, a brother, son and man of God in the past two years. I have seen him change and mature as they faced life’s challenges head on. And I love seeing little pieces of my dad in him as he jokes around with the family.
Getting to take their two year anniversary pictures was such an honor for me. Even though Jarrett grumbled about how many fish he could have caught during the time we took pictures, I loved every second of it. There’s nothing like family vacation, especially when it’s at one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been.
Happy (late) anniversary, Jarrett and Cassie! I love you so much, and pray the Lord continues to be glorified through your marriage.
