You know that feeling you get when you see two people who are so happy and so in love it makes YOU happy? That’s how I feel every time I’ve been with Joe and Brittany. Their joy is contagious, and they are head over heels for each other. How can you not smile when you get to see that first hand?

So fun fact… Joe and I were first year teachers together! We both taught third grade, and was always blown away with how we went above and beyond for his students. They loved him, and for good reason. He’s an amazing teacher – dedicated and passionate about what he does! Seeing him in a totally different context has been so much fun for me. I love getting to catch up with old coworkers… Especially when they (and their significant others) become my friends as well.

I first met Brittany the night Joe proposed to her. I took some pictures right after he popped the question to document the special and exciting day, and I don’t think I’ve ever met someone as excited as she was. I liked her from the moment we met, and was over the moon when they asked me to be their wedding photographer as well. I love getting to see love stories like theirs unfold!

Our time at White Rock Lake was such a blessing. We laughed as Joe dizzily spun Brittany around again and again. We excitedly talked about their upcoming December wedding. We joked around and reminisced on the days we spent teaching together. And we all left knowing a true friendship had been made.
