Puppy fever is a serious thing, y’all, and these puppies gave it to me this week. I love me some sweet pups, and now that they’re running (or you know, hopping) around, playing with each other and curious about the world around them, I just about died. The cuteness factor was off the charts (my excited squeal when I first saw them definitely confirmed that), and I could have hung out with these pups ALL day.
I am a HUGE fan of golden retrievers. My parent’s dog, Buttercup, stole my heart when we got her years ago, and my husband and I absolutely adore our dog, Lillie. They are so loyal, sweet, playful and smart. And it doesn’t hurt that they are so stinkin’ gorgeous!
When Lillie was born, I had no idea how to work my camera. Don’t get me wrong, I took a bunch of pictures, but I never really captured the images I was wanting. So when I found out that Buttercup was pregnant again, I was THRILLED. I couldn’t wait to grab my camera and take some pictures of these puppies, and you better believe I loved every minute of it.
The puppies were so active, and it was adorable watching them explore, hop on each other, chew on leaves, and play with Lillie. I couldn’t stop smiling, and just about melted with how cute they were. They’re going to their owners next week, so this was the last time I would get to see many of them, and I soaked it in as much as I could. Luckily, though, some of our best friends are getting one of the males (Leo), and another family from church is getting a female (Sadie), so I won’t be puppy-less for long. 😉

Thank you so much for capturing these precious moments for their soon-to-be new owners. You have definitely captured the essence of their sweet puppy faces. I can almost smell their breaths from here!
I’m SO glad I was able to take them. They were so cute, and I wish we could have spent even more time snuggling and playing with them.
