You know the phrase “third time’s the charm”? Hannah and John are proof that sometimes those four words are 100% true.

John drove around to three different locations before finally proposing to Hannah.
First the park he has originally planned on going to was closed.
Then there was no parking at the Margaret Hunt Bridge.
And finally he found a cute little courtyard in Fort Worth where he popped the question.

And when it came to their engagement session, we had to schedule it three times.
On the first date, Hannah got sick.
Then the weather was cold, rainy and dreary.
But on the third date, we finally got lucky.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, the trees were green and blooming, and my heart was SO HAPPY to finally enjoy the gorgeous weather I had been craving. But my favorite part of the afternoon? Getting to spend time with Hannah and John.

There’s just something infectious about two people in love. When John smiled down at Hannah, my heart warmed, and I was reminded of how I felt during my own engagement session. When Hannah giggled and told me about their upcoming wedding, I couldn’t help but grin along. I always leave these sessions saying “that was my favorite one yet”, because I can’t help but love witnessing two people who genuinely and wholly love and care for one another. It’s one of the reasons I do what I do.

I know I’ll never be able to capture just how much Hannah and John love each other. But I hope you can see it in the twinkle in John’s eye. And in the way Hannah smiles up at him. Because this kind of love is one that you want to share with the world!
