Years ago when the Bride and Groom cake flavors from Blue Bell were released, Kelsey thought of a fun idea for an engagement picture. So she bought a half gallon tub of each flavor, emptied them (if only I had been there to help with that task) and saved them. She waited years for her chance to use the ice cream tubs. But the wait was worth it when Landon got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Because there’s really no better way to celebrate a sweet love like theirs than with some Blue Bell ice cream.
When you see Landon and Kelsey together, you can immediately tell they were made for each other. Her smile lights up the room when she looks at him. And he is head over heels in love with his bride. The years they’ve spent together have formed a deep bond and friendship that reminds me of my relationship with Isaac. Seeing two people who trust each other, care for each other, and have watched each other grow up over the years… It’s something you don’t see every day.
I am so thankful to not only know Kelsey and Landon, but to be a part of their journey as they become husband and wife. Here’s to the next 200 something days and your wedding day in June that will be here before you know it. Eat lots of ice cream, keep dancing the night away, and enjoy this season of life as you anxiously await the beginning of forever. 🙂
